Damn, that is pretty f-ing good mate.

Always amazes me when people have the skill to do things like that. My girlfriends dad is an artist and when I look at his drawings there unreal how realistic he can get them, would love to be able to draw like that myself.

Nice one mate, that is the dogs danglies Thumbs Up.

I don't think the cool rating can justify, just how cool that picture is. Karma

Seconded Very Happy

That's an excellent piece of work Smile

Out of curiosity, how big is it? What type of paint did you use? etc.

Thanks glad you like it. It's 22x30 and done with prismacolor pencils.

Your stuff is really good, so I hope you don't mind if I make a comment . . . .

The lead pencil stuff is better than the colour, because with the colour pencils you are using, it seems difficult (unless scanner is playing tricks and not giving faithful rendition) to get the shading on any of the colour patches.

I think your ability is greater than the tools you are using, and you must now move on to accrylics or oils to progress.

Hope you take that as a positive comment - I particularly liked the motocrosser.

Best,

L

I dont think the prismacolour's are causing the problem as such. They can work well in the right hands, I think scanning/photographing the pics isnt helping.

Id suggest trying to use marker pens and some pastel & gouache for some pictures.
These are the materials used for the renderings you see in magazines of car/bike designs. Can get expensiove, though no different to prisma's.

Nice pictures Thumbs Up

That's very, very impressive. Shame it's not the 2004 Yamaha colours though! Wink (Are you working on them next??!)

Edited for a Doh! Should have looked at your website before even thinking about posting the above! Whistle
