How much would you pay for it at auction if you know nothing about it other than what's in this picture?

Remember kids, bikes aren't like lego. You can't easily take a part from one bike and then fit it to another.

prob in a scrap yard next to a digger bucket because they weigh about the same.
digger bucket has better resale value
and is probably more fun to ride.

If you didn't have a motorbike and would just ride anything, how much would you pay?

£25.00 is the going price so far. Laughing

Half a pack of Hob Nobs. A whole pack if it runs.

Must be an echo in here.

A hundred or 2 squids if it works may be a decent bet...

I'd probably chance as much as £150 at an auction, well actually, if I have to pay fees on top, £125.

I think this every time somebody posts their price! I'd love to know where people shop.

When I got mine I didn't have a full bike licence... but sure made me want to pass my test.

Anyway it was my tattooist that said he knew someone that was selling a motorbike and would probably take about £300... he would have got it himself, but his wife had told him not to for one reason or another, so he gave me the number.

I called the person and asked if I could go and see the bike. When I went to see it it looked a bit grubby, but I almost started dancing anyway..... after composing myself I asked how much they were looking for and they told me that someone had just been to see it and offered them £150 for it but if I wanted to offer more, so I asked how much more and they said if I offered £175 I could have it.... cue me fumbling my wallet out of my pocket, leaving scorch marks on the queens face when I pulled the £75 out so quick and asked if that would be OK as a deposit until I could arrange a trailer to collect it.

Apart from a good clean up and new oil and filter I didn't really do much, and this is how it looked when I listed it on ebay:

Actually, I should point out that my divvy was the only decent deal I ever got.... I've posted this before, but my complete biking price run down:

Wasp: paid £350 - sold £80 (spent about £20 on parts)
Intruder 125: Paid £250 - sold £950 (spent about £750 on parts)
Diversion: Paid £175 - sold £0* (spent about £15 on parts)
GPz 750r: Paid £250 - sold £50 (spent about £350 on parts)
zxr 750: Paid £301 - sold £410 (spent about £700 on parts)
VFR 750: Paid £670 - current bike (spent about £70 on parts... so far)

*The divvy actually sold for £670, but the guy that came to buy it handed my wife the money and that was the last I ever seen of it really.... then she threw me out of the house

Maybe it's pictured next to the digger bucket that swept up through the fairing and clocks, then came to rest on the seat, causing the big rip.

I wouldn't have that as a present, unless I had another one I wanted some spares for.

If you don't want it and it's cheap, I'd be interested in it.

Sent them an email asking if they can do delivery or if I can send a courier to collect it.

If it's mechanically sound I could have that on the road for less than £200 in parts.

I've had one of these and it was . . . well . . . reliable, it was the bike i never put away so was always out on the drive in all weathers and the works car park for the rest of the time - don't pay too much i purchased mine for £200 with 7 months MOT left on it, rode it until May and sold it to a newbie rider with the last month MOT remaining for £195 - so there you have it 6 months use for £5 - about sums the bike up really

All I'm thinking is:

WINTER IS COMING

Need a naked bike
Strap on a decent headlight
Get some digital clocks
steal Find a new seat

Job done.

However if anybody knows of anything going for cheap...
