I don't whether its the cold or what (not that cold tbh) but when I got home and took my gear off and one of my fingers spazzed out and just locked up! Shocked I was like wtf, few seconds later it was back to normal. My right hand is bit cramped too. I was out for about an hour riding, I'm not even old!!

Weather or just me? Laughing

Get some heated handgrips. A nice hot rod to hold in your hand that screams when you twist it.

Did you never do that trick when you were a kid, where you squeeze someone's finger as hard as you can for a least a minute, then release just enough so they can get their finger out of your grip? Then, when you try to open your fingers, you can't (or with great difficulty)?

Sounds like that, gripping too tightly, made worse by African Bum Disease.

Possibly 'death grip' and the ambient temperature.

Try heating up your core body temp more with layers, muffs/decent winter gloves and loosen your grip on the bars.
