So...

I dunno how many people are gonna read this, so I thought i'd post it anyhow....

Day 2...well, day 2 for me was my first time on a Honda 500cc CB..and man, what can I say.

Firstly, the instructor got me to ride to him, stop, ride to him and stop...I guess just to ensure that i wouldn't run anyone over!

Then we had the compulsory figure of 8. Round and round and round....I am not too bad at these, so that was easy. Then the fun started to happen. Emergency stop practice. So, clonked it into first, accelerated....2nd....Break.....loverly stop..

For those of you who haven't graduated yet to a big bike, the power (even 50BHP or so) is amazing....

Then onto the road....we rode around and around. Trying to get comfortable with the bike. Those gears are really clonky, and the gear leaver is a lot closer than on my SR125, but I managed to get comfortable with it.

We went around a corner, and the instructor saw a learner driver infront of us, we were going into a 40, so with the customary check over the shoulder I gave it some....wooooossshhhh....What a buzz!!!!!

Since then, I have been practicising turns, slow manevours, U-Turns and general riding and checking of shoulders/life savers.

It was a throughly great day, I am knackered, but happily tired.

Another day on the 500CCs tomorrow, so tidy up those dodgy left hand corners, then test on Wednesday....

Lets see what happens...!

Doobs.
