According to a daily mail poll we're the 46th most annoying thing in the UK. It's nice to see traffic jams at 11, makes me all the more happy as I filter past. Smile

This is the Daily Mail, to be fair - I'm surprised Immigrants aren't at the top of the list.

In relation to this thread - cause of cyclist deaths then #29 is interesting. Although more probably because cyclist is actually making progress. Probably related to #7 as well.

In our defence, we reduce traffic, don't use as much petrol, can't smoke on a bike, can't spit on a bike, can't use a phone on a bike, we don't take up two seats on a train and you can't hear us being rude to you and swearing.

It's funny, because it's almost an inherent part of riding a bike that you don't physically impede car drivers. Yet they still consider 'us' to be annoying.

Probably jealous that they're stuck in traffic and we just whizz past them Mr. Green

-I don't have an open face helmet, or I would be smoking Very Happy
-Not sure why, but Siri doesn't respond well to broad Yorkshire
-I was thinking that, but since I've yet to see a bike larger than a 125 get beaten off the lights, it's not holding up the queue!

How can "Knowing the difference between there, they're and their" be annoying?

I find it annoying that other people don't know it, not that I do.

There , there. Don't let it upset you. They're just getting their knickers in a twist over there in Daily Mail land Wink

The list is wrong, number 1-5 should be Western Decadence.

It strains the intelligence of the average daily mail reader to unbearably painful levels, along with remembering to breathe.
