Hi,
I have a yellow Suzuki GSXR K2 and have just had the nose cone reprinted. The colour is way out from the rest of the bike. I found/supplied the paint code, so I'm unsure now if the paint on the bike is original or not. The new paint is like a yellow with lime tint and the old yellow with an orange tint (a lot warmer, richer colour).
Anyone have any ideas how I Can match this?
Does anyone know a good painter in the Salford/Manchester area who can do this?
Thanks.

Take it back to the guy who did it and get him to match it?

Ideally, you need a paint supplier with access to a Photospectrometer, so they can analyze the original colour.

Just look on the internet for local automotive paint suppliers and keep ringing them until you find one that can help.

Fisty- the guy is ringing his supplier today, but he is sure there is only one shade.

SQL- I'm not sure, but it's an obvious colour difference.

Shaft- yep your right on there.

jjdugen- thanks, will get in touch. Will need a GOOD painter in the area as well as I'm not to impressed with the Finish either. Any recommendations anyone?

If you find one, let me know. Unless its 2-Pac in standard flat colour no-one around here seems to want to know.

How much would you be expecting to pay and how much did you pay?

I paid £100 for the top fairing to be done.
The damage was scratches to one cheek. I removed the graphic and delivered the panel to the paint shop.
To be honest I've no idea if that's the going rate or not, but I wouldn't want to pay more than £200 and that would have to be an A1 job. Another £100 and I could get a Chinese full fairing kit. :-/
