But saved it like a boss. Cool .

Downward sharp bend, max 20mph but got that "oh, shit" feeling when you have no feedback through the bars. You know, the almost Jedi sensation of impending failure.

Bars went full lock to the right side, as I continued on straight. Remember kids, don't apply any brake. Saved it and gave myself a high five. At the bottom of the hill it really was like sheet ice, both feet down and rear wheel spinning on the smallest amount of power. On the way back it was getting worse, just walked through the door and slipped coming into my drive.

Winter innit'.

Top balance that, self five while riding in ice.

No ice round these parts, but spent all avoiding wet leaves. Thought I'd got away with it, then there's a hair pain bend to get into my street (street sweeps sharply left after junction), went round slowly but with a lot of lean, didn't see the two big rectangular man hole covers. Back end slid, must have only gone about a foot or less but it felt like a lot more. Just managed to wobble her back upright and went inside to change my underwear.

Wank, isn't it? It's that special time of year when the hundred yards at either end of my commute becomes sphincter-clenching, feet-down slapstick.

I can't fault the weather protection on the ped, but I'm having regrets about not scoring an XT 225 when I had the chance - I'd actually be safer cutting across country to reach the main road.

Hang on... I have an "adventure" bike... Thinking

I forgot about those little levers that articulate the throttle and handlebars. And of course the little feet that pop out of the fairings. Amazing piece of kit my 94' Yamaha, I agree.

Horrible wet leaves around, although it is to be expected first ride out on my new bike today. Damn that was butt clenching for quite a while on corners. Still in one piece though Thumbs Up
