Just got a text from confused... My last year's premium was £150ish... "your best renewal quote is £1817.54 from eBike".

I'm not 100% sure what's going on there... Good job I don't need it.

Was searching for insurance for my lad's bike.
Put in worth £1000. Policy came up default TPFT with £500 compulsory excess and £500 voluntary excess. Rolling Eyes
So I didn't bother getting that one Wink

I'm sure they made a mistake with their original calculations to determine insurance costs, but have let it go on too long to admit their mistakes. There is no logic to it at all.

If I decide to up my excess, I expect the insurance company to lower the cost of insurance to acknowledge my increased risk of financial loss should an accident occur. Do they? Nope. It usually goes up!
