removing GoPro mount

Stuck a sticky mount into the chin of my helmet. Custom paint job, so really don't want to wreck the lacquer or paint.
Anyone got any tips for taking it off without any damage?

Heat and dental floss.

hair dryer... heat that sucker up good, careful though the plastic will be hot to the touch, give it a pull and keep applying heat to the underside of it when you get a little corner up

That's how I move the mounts for my Drift, done it several times and the stickiness stays on the pads fine and not left a mark on the helmets either

Presuming the paint job has been lacquered..

Try pry a corner up, get some adhesive remover underneath and use a rigid plastic spatula to ease it off with more adhesive as you go. May take a while but it shouldn't leave any damage.

Theres probably much cheaper and simpler alternatives available but going by what i've used for similar in the past this stuff works well

I use 99p brake and carb cleaner for this sort of thing..
