Had training yesterday for mod1, picked things up quickly but i think the bike helped a lot as it was extremely easy and fun to ride (Mt-03). I also had a mock and passed with 0 minors, so feeling confident and have the real thing tomorrow after half a day training.

Was just wondering if anyone had done their mod1 at Garretts Green recently and if so how was the test centre and examiners? Are they strict, lenient, friendly, rude etc? It's 17mph winds tomorrow in Birmingham and i've been told they close the test centre on windy days, is 17mph considered too windy to conduct a mod1 test?

Another question i had is if you did your mod1 at Garrets Green how long did u have to wait for an availability for your mod2 (at Garretts Green)

Thanks in advance, Az Smile

Recheck of the BBC weather website and now it's no longer 17mph winds but actually 12mph, i'm assuming they'll still do mod1 tests with 12mph winds

I did my tests there a few years ago.
I had a mixture of examiners, I wouldn't want to go to the pub with them, but they were fair.

Availability was excellent, thats why I went there...

All the best buddy, do your best

Mike

garrets green was always the easy option when I was young, the one to avoid was quinton, but saying that I passed car and bike tests there the first time
