my 4 stroke 125 runs then cuts out?

it will start fine and will ride for a couple of miles but once its warmed up it constantly cuts out and i have to wait 5 mins to restart it then i'll be lucky if it goes 500m without cutting out again, have dropped cleaned and checked the carb. it all looks and feels fine, any clues on what could be causing this?

could be the coil breaking down ??

ride it till it stops then whip the s/plug out,
if its wet then its prob a leccy/ ignition fault
if its dry then carb/ breather/ tap prob

not a foolproof test but it should at least give you an idea of whats going on

is that the pipe that comes out of the the carb like a kind of overflow pipe or the pipe to the air box? soz noob mechanic,
