any recomendations? went through several different tyres on my gsxr and finally found pirelli diablo strada to give me the best grip to mileage (i do mostly commuting on it) but cant seem to find these in a 190. so basically just need to find primarily some long lasting tyres (this seems to eat not only the tread but the tarmac and everything underneath it in the traffic light GP Very Happy). cheers

Have you tried Battlax BT-023s? I have them on the Pan and they seem to be a good all rounder, excellent dry grip and don't seem to be wearing too quick down the middle.

Diablo Stradas were great in Spain, boiling hot and proper pissing it down.

PR2/3 should stick like shit to a blanket in the wet.

PR3's are brilliant in the wet. Leagues ahead of Strada's.

Mine have done 5k+ & a trackday and don't appear to be wearing, but I'll probably swap them in the spring for something stickier.

I got excellent mileage from the Pilot Road II. Fancied a change and on Roadsmart II. Both good tyres... as in wet and dry grip but the Roadsmarts are wearing sooner than expected. Guestimate I'll get 7-8k out of the rear compared to the 9k with the PR2.

I'd be happy to use PR2s again...Cheaper than the newer PR3s and Roadsmart IIs.

Pilot Road 2cts. No question. Been through 2 sets on a 06 R1, 3 sets on a 08 Fz1s and one set on K8 gsxr 1000. They DO stick well in the wet, as long as you don't back off so much that they get cold!
Got Prs 3s on the Multistrada and they are superb, pegs down good in the dry and confidence inspiring in the wet (better than 2s)...just a bit vague on the front end at ''speed'' for my liking.

Metzeler Z8's. Am on my 3rd set on the FJR and no complaints.
