I've had a couple of pairs of Akito 'storm' gloves, and they've been both warm and dry. For boots you can't go wrong with Sidi 'black rain evo', still waterproof after 2 years of heavy use, and still looking pretty good too. Thumbs Up

I have some "Tech7" winter gloves which are rainproof and windproof. I also have some Sidi "black rain evo" boots as well and they haven't let any water in yet. Also I wear some "Swift" textile trousers that are made from Cordura and they keep my legs warm and dry. Currently wearing a Targa cordura jacket that keeps me dry too.

If all you have right now is leathers, there could be an over coat that you can wear on them that stops you getting wet. I suggest you look in somewhere like Hein Gerick as they are reasonably priced. Smile

And at lunch time, will get some Alpinestar Jet Road GTX gloves and Sidi Black Rain Boots.

I use heavily nik-waxed british army boots. A pair of Hein Gericke Master 4 gloves, dutch army issue gore-tex trousers and a bellstaff cordura jacket for much dryness.

Gericke or the army surplus shop are the places to go.

As stinkwheel says, gericke kit is pretty good. For waterproofs I wear a pair of their 'zoidberg' gloves, and a one piece tribal evo oversuit. My mate has the same and he rode to scotland in the pissing down rain (four hours worth) and it didnt let a drop in.

Think its about £30, but well worth it!

any normal high boots, full one piece waterproofs, and J&S do some good waterproof gloves.
Spend at least £40 in the waterproofs otherwise they are no good.

I usually wear a Lewis Textile Jacket with Dynamic Weathers waterproofs, with one of my pairs of gloves, usually my IXS ones in summer or my Buffalo or Frank thomas ones in winter.
And the boots I wear are RST Storma boots, so far after 3000 miles they haven't leaked and are really comfortable, only thing I hate about them is that when it raining and your paddling your bike is they seem to have a slippery sole.

But since getting the GPZ with its large top fairing, I havent bothered with Waterproof trousers as it seem to keep most of the rain off my bottom half. Smile

I use a Buffalo one piece oversuit. It keeps you dry but it is a bit of a hassle getting it on and off and it gets very warm inside it when the bike is not moving. Cost £30.
Thumbs Up
