For winter use, have you thought about buying some rubber blocks and then screwing them directly into your current tyres? Instant knobbly snow tyres, what could go wrong?

all the shops by me had PS4's on the shelf to buy on friday / saturday, and the local game had xbox one's in stock

Maybe Mr. MIlf has been left stuck with a couple of consoles he can't sell and has still got his old tyres on. That'd be a shame...
