Hi all

In the market for a new bike cover. Not sure which to go for?

It's for a Honda XR125 so not sure on medium or large also?

Cheers

Jeff

Had a Rainex for a few years and its been fine for my needs, thick material, nice lining and durable. I'm sure a medium would be fine for an XR125.

I can't speak for the Rainex but, I've been using the Oxford Stormex for the past two years and it's lasted well through some pretty bad weather. No matter how hard it rains and no matter how long for or how windy, the bike's always bone dry underneath it. It also has a nice soft lining to prevent any scratches and is heat resistent, so doesn't melt on a hot exhaust.

I would highly recommend it Thumbs Up

I have a rained and it's fantastic, as people said soft lining, thick material. It's rained pretty much 3 weeks solid here and the bikes still bone dry. Heat resistant part for the exhaust etc

Oh and sometimes they are like half price brand new on eBay, worth a look on there. I got mine for £21+ postage I think it was

Size wise I have a medium and it's a perfect fit for my GSXR. So youd either want a medium or a small, possibly a small, see how different the dimensions are on the cover

Just to bare in mind that the stormex is not easily transported.

Might help the decision if you need to carry it

I have a Rainex which has stood up to snow and storms. Not sure what the Stormex offers over a Rainex but I'm happy with it. 2 years old and still going strong Thumbs Up

the stormex is more heavy duty than the rainex, breathable and lined so you can put it over a hot bike, buy bigger than you need, as it will last long enough to fit your next (bigger?) bike

My Rainex is lined and vented. That'll do.

I've got a rainex for my zx6r and I'm very pleased with it so far. Medium fits it very well so you certainly won't need a large.
