I'm looking for a decent set of brass parallel punches for a little home gun repair and it seems I'm either destined for a shit set of Nielsen branded ones carved out of hexagon bar with a spoon or importing a set of starrett from America. I would prefer metric due to my guns being European and the length of the parallel part only needs to be around 25mm or so.

Also looking for some nice roll pin punches (material not so important) too. Any good engineering suppliers with web shops would be handy if anyone deals with one.

Cheers, Lee.

They're not brass though which he's after for the parallel ones.
Just off Base are Ok to deal with and they have the Sealey metric set of roll pin punches at £25 odd, I've got a set and they're fine, might find them cheaper somewhere else but it's a start .

Dunno about the brass ones, if you're doing a bit of gun work have you thought about getting a small lathe which always comes in handy for making and restoring parts, I make my own brass punches for whatever particular job they're needed and you can easily refurb them if need be. I "mess about" a bit with airguns not Section 1 etc.
