So after the weather up here in the North East ruining my first attempts and getting my mod 1 and 2 done I have finally got them re-booked for Tuesday and Wednesday next week. Got more riding time booked with my instructor over Saturday and Sunday to get final prep done!

I also secured a bike for after I have (fingers crossed) passed! Just got to hope the weather holds and I hold my nerve!

Bought myself a Suzuki GSX F 750...can't wait to get it out on the open road!

Looks nice, and you've got plenty of time to get that subframe straightened.

Back in the office today...sitting thinking about tomorrow!

Got a few hours riding in the morning before mod 1. The only ball-ache to failing will be I have no more holidays to take from work until the New Year which means a long wait to re-sit.

For some reason the Aberdeen centre doesn't do tests on a Saturday!

Best of luck fella Thumbs Up

My bro traded his GPZ500 for GSXF750 a couple of months ago. Decent looking looking machine - even if the tail light reminds me of a baboons's arse Laughing

Cancelled at 8.15am this morning with the test due to be at 9.40...gutted is an understatement.

Trying to re-schedule for Friday but with weather warnings for snow and blizzards starting from tomorrow I'm not getting my hopes up.

Thumbs Down

Why? The weather doesn't look that bad in Aberdeen today.

Tell me about it.

The roads were icy this morning when I headed up to BOD for 8am. My instructor got a call from the test centre at 8.15am to say they were cancelling due to the conditions.

Test was due at roughly 9.30 by which time it was light and the sun was out.

Very frustrating.

Oh well, look on the bright side - at least the examiner has now got all their Christmas shopping done with their day off.

I'm not sure where I'm going with this.......

The weather up here loves trolling me Sad

A mixed day of high winds, rain, maybe snow as well as sunny spells today - it is meant to be calmer and dry tomorrow...we will wait and see!

9.40am test time. Wish it was a bit later on, give the roads a chance to thaw if it ices over.

With my initial Mod 1 being cancelled in November because of 'ice and moss' at the test centre, and then 2 cancellations of my mod 2 in a week, again down to the weather it's all becoming a bit of a farce.

I take the point that they are being safe but cancelling tests first thing in the morning when it's still dark is ridiculous.

By the time I was due out on Wednesday it was bright sunshine and perfect road conditions. Today was maybe a bit more understandable with light snow having turned icy over night and -1 degree most of the day.
