Southend amusements in winter

[Groove]

Had an idea of taking a lady friend to southend for some form of mechanical fun. Possibly ending with me pounding her slots.

I know the pier and Peter pans is closed late in the evenings but what time do the arcades close on a sunday in winter?

I did search Google but didn't really get anything out of it.

Failing that...I need a new idea and picking her up in 3 hours...

There's not much else to do in Southend?

There's a local dogging spot were you and others can pound her slots and see if you win.

Well we would be coming from Chelmsford so if nothings open its a bit of a wasted trip when we could stay local. ..
