Ordered this last night, £13 inc shipping.

Anyone else use a type of beard oil?
Is it worth it?

Mine was free, and delivered by a fantastic system not too unlike a scottoiler. Gives more flow in cold weather automatically.

My nose.

My beard doesn't squeak. I just pressure-wash it once a week to get the salt off it and it looks after itself.

No, I've not used beard oil in the past, but I have been faintly curious about the stuff for a while. If it does help eliminate beard flake, as it suggests, then I may be tempted. I'm not a massive fan of smelly cosmetics, though; coal tar soap and engine oil are the scents for me.

Keep us posted.

Found it pretty much as expected, expensive snake oil.

Once a week I'll wash the beard properly (shampoo and then condition) with the Aussie stuff my missus invariably has in the shower somewhere. That seems to keep it reasonably luxuriant. Particularly if it happens to be the "volumising" stuff Laughing

Other than that, rinse in the shower and all is good.

Good to know. I'll stick with my current regimen of doing sod all, then. Thumbs Up

Tut Tut I read (@bcf) that pressure washing is frowned on as you can force water past the seals. Shocked

Very Happy

Synthetic or mineral?

Given the amount of blowpast/breathing the enflied has been doing recently, my beard has mostly been getting Morrisons own brand 15w-40 Mineral-base diesel oil.

You need to be more careful riding the beast in the prone position.

At least the oil will be somewhat filtered if you decide to re-cycle it. Thumbs Up

Seals have whiskers, not beards.

This thread makes no sense. No sense!

Beard just gets the same treatment the top of my head does when I'm in the shower.

The advertising photography accompanying the above product calls the veracity of your statement into question.
