I haven’t got a bike at the moment, I have an empty feeling like breaking up with GF.
Do any of you name your machine, I know most inanimate objects, mainly vehicles have women’s names, I have a named only some of mine, the ones I felt attached to after spending a lot of time alone in a room with my tools out. Wink Thumbs Up

TS50X – Called it Tess, small, cute not very quick on the uptake but you love the comfy ride. Lol

RX50 – Roxy my ex GF named it, nice to look at gave you hours of pleasure.

TS125R – Suzi, big chunky, comfy, with a nice rear.

TZR125 – “The animal” It had a snake skin paint job, when riding it was like a go on a wild animal with a poker up it’s a**

MITO – “The Bitch” for obvious reasons, it wouldn’t shut up, needed a good slap around, and went out looking like a tart.

My Fazer 600 is called Colin, reg number is T860 CLN or something like that. Don't like the name, but it stuck and it says so on the number plate. So you can't argue with that.

A mate's fazer is called Frankie, which is a much better name for a fazer. Or for a bike full stop.

Mine's called "Eagle" Smile (W*** EAG) Smile. She's a good girl too, only ever lets me down in response to my own screwing up of things. Sometimes we both go down the road together, and i livingly patch her up, and she waits patiently to be reunited with me and has no reluctance to do what I ask of her regardless of the risks and ahhhhh...... Shifty Cool

I was getting all emotional about my NSR there, but she's a love
and she deserves it Thumbs Up Smile.

May be a strange choice of name but AR125 was the manufacturer name given to it, so I'll stick with that thanks..

Well I have named most of my machines since I started to like my first GS500, I used to call him Tokky, cos his reg was R*** TOK.

The bike to replace him was a bike called Lesley, LSE 952V, and old superdream, such a bitch of a bike.

And the bike after that was Henry, H*** HNE, it was the only name I could think of with HN and E in it and that name stuck.

My current bike is called Neville, it was suggested by a BCFer when I got the bike cos its reg is M*** NVM, that name now kinda stuck and it suits it!

I think I'll call the men in white coats now! Wink Razz

girls name their cars don't they? Men don't. Should be added to the list of manliness in the other section

Men should never name their bikes. ever.
