Hi all.

After my mate and I had a minor accident a month ago, the rear mudguard/license plate holder has cracked on my Honda CBF 125. My mate was kind enough to pay for a replacement part, but now I'm stuck trying to even get the old one come off.

The part looks like this:

(Photo found on google)

So far, I have removed the plate, the indicaters (except for the wires, which I cannot seem to figure out where goes).

I cannot seem to figure out how to remove the actual part itself. Any advice?

Cheers,
Palm

I've never worked on a CBF125 before, so hopefully someone with mode knowledge can help, but try taking the seat off, and working back from there.

Hi, thanks for your reply.

I spent literally all day trying to figure this out. I tried taking the rear panels off, as well as both seats, indicators, and the rear handle. Still, I got stuck on removing the rear fairing, as I could not get the rear light off at all. I saw some videos on YouTube, that described the removal of the light, but mine was completely stuck.

I have included four photos, that shows the rear-side of the bike, and what it looks like under the seats:

Full-sized versions found as links in the bottom of this post.

Have you looked up and under the back wheel arch? IIRC there should be a couple of bolts underneath. I would check my Haynes manual but can't find it at the moment

Hi all, thank you for your replies.

I'll have a mate over on Thursday, who's got a bit more knowledge in the area, than I've got. We'll have a look through this, and try following the guide.

I'll keep you posted.

Cheers,

It does. Alot. Very Happy

If you can get something about removing the battery and the rear panels, that would be amazing.

Cheers.
