As I've said before, I love my 400s, I love the styling of the early 90's FZR400 and secondarily the ZXR400, are these good bikes if they're treated right? Is it hard to find one that hasnt been rinsed?

Thanks for the help.

Hey! Turn that down under frown around and upside down! On a similarly irrelevent note, I'm afraid I don't know too much those bikes. Although I've heard lot of praise for the ZXRs - whatever engine size.

Personnally I'd prefere a ZXR, purely because it would probably be more suited to road use. the FZR is a bit more racing-like and lacks some of the more practical bits that the ZXR has.

Sorry If that's bugger all help. *grin* Smile

Hi

Think the FZR has a bit of a reputation for being a bit fragile. However much of the bike is shared with the FZR600 (some internal engine parts for the FZR600 are marked "1WG" which is the model code for the early FZR400).

Spares wise the ZXR will be easier as it was officially imported for years.

All the best

Keith

Also the ZXR is the most modern looking bike, I also think it looks bigger than a 400.

mate the zxr is massive compared to things like VFR's which looks practically the size of an rs125
