Motonano Slickvis would do the job, especially if you got a nice new clean micro fibre cloth too. Thumbs Up Laughing

Check that your problem isn't on the *inside* of the visor. I was having bad visibility issues in the past week or so and it turned out the visor wasn't seating fully with the seal along the top. In really heavy downpours, the water was seeping in. Worse, the pinlock wasn't sealing well, either. Wiping didn't help, obviously. Lifting the visor only made the issue worse.

I had some hairy rides home in the dark before I figured it out and adjusted the visor correctly.

Maybe the oil is on your eye-balls or you need a stronger prescription.

Ride with the visor up that's what I do now. Saves being blinded by the rain or idiots who don't know their light switch has more than one setting. Unless every one of the pricks that passes me only has "full beam"

I never thought of that! Middle Finger

use mild green fairy liquid, not standard 'anywho' brand. it has special baby skin molecules in it - rain runs off like water from a ducks greased up arse hole. Thumbs Up

I had a similar issue a few days ago. Riding home from work in the rain, gave my visor a wipe so I could see more clearly, or so I though. It was like someone had smothered my visor with vaseline. The more I wiped it with my gloves, the worse it got. Shocked I ended up having to ride with my visor up, which wasn't a pleasant experience in freezing rain.

However, when I got home, I just cleaned it with visor cleaner (autoglym), a microfiber cloth and had no more problems.

Same problem - I'm sure it's something they are adding to the grit in the cold weather. Like a bloody oil slick across the visor Evil or Very Mad

Seems better now that we have had some rain to clear the roads.

I used muck off spray and a microfibre cloth to sort it.

Weird you say that I've the exact same problem today! Couldn't clean it off with hot water and a cloth so will try washing up liquid tomorrow. Literally couldn't see fuck all and there was a multi coloured streak across the visor like a petrol stain.
