IIRC, a certain pink floyd loving bravehearted bcfer was using the fact that a few people had gone in to help at the crash scene as direct proof that all jocks are heroes and all the English are snivelling cowards.

So, using the same method of calculation (a small number of people equals the entire national character) I can now announce that all Scotts are thieving scumbags who wouldn't hesitate to rob their own grannies if it meant they could get their daily heroin/buckfast/fried foods fix.

Stereotypes - work both ways.
