A grounding point should be anywhere on the frame as long as the -ve connection of the battery is attached to the frame.
Though I'm not really sure what your trying to achieve? ____________________ The BCF's very own Party boy! Though he's getting old and feeling it!

If you really want to treat her, take it allllll apart (hassle) clean up all the connectors, and grounding points. On my 12/13ish year old bike, they were all a state. Cleaning them up helps. Mine looked like they had never been done...
I doubt it would noticeably bring all those benefits you have mentioned, but it helps things work better, especially if you have dodgy contacts . Mine had, and things didn't work as consistently.
Don't really think I'd go out of my way to make the groundings more substantial. Keep them stock and keep them in good nick. Stock should be good enough, I recon.
You should be happy everything is working.

| Quote: | No offence mate, but on 8 year Rvf4 it could/should be in very good condition. How many miles does it have?
If ain't broke, don't fix it.
I know its a new bike, and you want to treat it, but IMO there are better things to spend money on (if the bike is working 100%: DB screen, sticky tyres.
DO service well it though, and the right periods.

on my mileage meter.. its clocked at 85,000KM but i'm not sure whether its still the first cycle of the meter or already to its 2nd or maybe more.
and yes, i'm too working on other factors, like changing my tyres to GPR70, steel braided hoses, EBC HH brake pads and etc.. but i'm taking it slow |
