I would have thought this would be impossible but it seems that some of the stunts this guy does is very close to the absolute lmits of the bike to say that I was very impressed would definately be a major understatement! at arround 78% of the download you will see the rider perform very small circles in the middle of the road on his ZZR 600 whilst performing power slides at very low speeds Shocked Shocked Shocked I am inspired! Razz

Yea that guy has certainly had a bit of practice eh! The skill and control it must take to get your knee down in a smallish circle at a very low speed is superb!

WOW

OMG, thats some good control. He makes it look so easy too. The low speed kneedowns are hard enough, never mind spinning the back end up...

My mate says he gets his knee down at every possible bend-but when i looked at his bike- he still had the 'spikey' bits on the sides of his tyres. Can he be telling the truth???

Korn was doing a similar thing on the X-Sport 110, getting his knee down then opening up the throttle until the rear lost traction.

Probably a bit harder to keep a zzr up on your knee however Smile.

Really need to get me zx9 sorted Smile.

I have a ZZR600 exactly the same as the 'crazy larry' vid, i thought when i got it that it would be a git to lean but it's actually very easy and feels very stable. That guy is amazing, also the wheelies are impressive. Why won't mine wheelie like that, i take his has been down geared. Not many people can do things like that on a sports tourer 600 that's 200 kilos.

Sorry, just takes skill and practice (two things I'm missing).

Only when you get too really slow wheelies does the down gearing make a massive difference usually. Big downgearing (ie+20 on the rear etc) is only really useful for doing stuff like high chair-twelve'o'clocks etc as far as I know.
On most sports bikes people will downgear them, then use 2nd to get smoother wheelies.

Wow, I'm in awe.
I take it there not standard tyres since their back wheel seems so easy to kick out. I'm n ot one for showy stunts but the 180 skid start is very cool.
Anyone got tips to getting the back wheel out? Is it just ignition, turn, throttle and hope?

To slide the back or to do that spin around thing?

To spin around you point the wheel in the direction you're going to turn, lean the bike right down low and drop the clutch Wink NO FRONT BRAKE but... wouldn't reccomend it on a sports bike unless you are REALLY good and know what you're attempting and prepared to drop your bike learning it.. it's a green laning trick.. I slide around 180 in a similar way when turning around on the road.... and do it from standstill off road. but that's on a 115kg motox bike, not a big ZZR Shocked
