so tomorrows the day of bargains?

or just shops like Harrods who bring in stock especially for the sales and mark them down from like 1000.00 to 100.00 ... but its old stock that would be gettin trashed / burned / donated anyways.

or is someone actually getting a real bargain?

I've never gone out to shop in sales once yet, don't really want or intend to either. If I need something that badly i'll just scour the internet for ages to find it, usually cheaper than most stuff in shops anyway.

Most shop sales tend to be a case of ''we don't have many left and we say its cheap so grab it before someone else does, don't think about whether you need it'', from the shit i've seen friends buy Neutral

Vowels and apostrophes. They're not in demand, I should get a bargain.

Went to a New Look sale once...

Full of asian storekeepers and families, stocking up and pushing in the queue...

I had better stop there as Christmas isn't the time for racism. Rolling Eyes But I won't be doing any shopping in the "real life" sales, it will all be done online.

Yep, sounds like M&S boxing day sale. Asian traders stocking up big time. Not worth the hassle even if you were interested.

I worked at the NEXT sale in my yoof. It was mindboggling walking in to work past the hordes of people that were queuing to get in at 5am!

Hateful job that was. The majority of shoppers were cunts.

Back on topic; I've just moved in with my girlfriend so I'm sure there's 'house' type stuff we need, not to mention food.

Lot of online discounts at the moment, if you do a google for the motorcycle gear or similar, most of the first page sellers. Tend to be cheaper than in-store for most stuff I find, although its an arse getting the right fit sometimes as some brands seem to vary quite a bit Evil or Very Mad

Hi

Came down the M6 today and I am a touch depressed that there was a tailback on the M6 turning off onto the M5 with signs saying congestion to J2 of the M5. If that is the queue for Merry Hill I really wouldn't want to be anywhere near the place even if I could teleport in.

All the best

Keith

I'm guessing that tailback was due to a serious accident Keith, as I went past junction 1 of the M5 today, and found a lane closed on each side of the motorway and police/highways people clearing up debris, from the road. The central barrier was smashed to smitherines and was black as a lump of coal. I'm guessing a crash and burn happened early this morning?
