How the hell do you get the lid off of them? I've broken two hand held twisty can openers and the lid's still 75% attached. Should I renew my explosives licence or look for a more dramatic solution?

Use a tin opener
Not the crappy ones that cut the sides to take the lid off but the proper ones that cut into the lid on the top. dead easy.

A firm manly headbutt or knee cap is usually sufficient for a professional pie consumer Tut Tut

These pies rock. I open mine with my pocket knife, using the blade, just cut it open. Hold can with left hand work knife with right hand. Worth the fight.

If you're feeling a bit ghey go buy an electric can opener from Argos. they're cheap, I've had one for years. When I fancy some sex I go and open a can instead..........works every time !.
