I have sinnis eagle 125 and it has no spark I have tried coil and cdi but still no luck Crying or Very sad ? I know it could be the stator but I don't want to go buy one and for it still not to work? could I try anything else before replacing the stator I appreciate all help thanks. Very Happy

yes I understand what your saying it looks like the wires have been tampered with . the wiring from the stator they have been chopped and reconnected. but I wouldn't know how to go about it any help is appreciated Smile

Check side stand switch and clutch switch, chrck the ignition barrel itself as well. Generally check the wiring over

Oh lordy, it's a ped. I thought that Sinnis was one of those quality brands that stand behind their products? Whistle

I think the best you'll get is the generic (not Generic) Haynes scooter manual.

Just checking: do you have a kill switch, and is it tripped?

no kill switch and have checked for a side stand switch but nothing that even though everyones said it should have one :l the bikes only 2 years old so cant be anything major surely lol i also though sinnis was a decent import but just cant figure this one out.

Buy a multimeter from ebay for about 3 quid, then google for the myriad of guides about checking the electrics on Chinese peds and bikes.

Sinnis have a better name than some but any Chinese bike is only as good as the drunk/bored/inept guy that took it from its crate and bolted it together. If it was done on a Friday night with a crate of Stella in the Garage even the better models can be a drama.

Obvious question but you say you changed the CDI and coil....... have you done anything to check the plug itself isn't fcked?

well i bought it only a couple of days ago as it was cheap thinking it would be an easy fix Smile the spark plug looks as new but yes have tried a couple. will have to check all the wiring tomorrow and fingers crossed it is not the stator.

have checked the wires and all earths are earthed one on engine and one on bike frame. so this now means that its the stator right?
