So this is my next project or spares to keep my existing Superdream going or make it better?
This is the existing bike , all MOT`d and taxed and running.

I was thinking about refurbishing parts off the bike and then replacing them with the parts on the bike piece by piece.
This way the good old poopydream stays on the road.
I even have the luxury of having enough spares to re-do a whole engine and then just slotting it in.
The same goes for caliper, wheels, carbs, & forks, cant all be bad Thumbs Up

I`m not going to make a thread about this but I will post about it from time to time.

It`s sad but old Pepperami is happy about being able to keep his Superdream on the road Laughing

Looks like a decent set of spares, enough there to keep you going forever! You obviously plan on keeping it so if it were me i'd be getting a few bits moved on to fund some 400 power. Maybe a front end aswell to run a twin disk setup. I love my 400, had some great fun on it. Shame you didnt come across an original 2 into 2 system. Im not a great fan of the aftermarket 2 into 1 systems that they have all ended up with.

It's already stripped down into several boxes of bits, so I would gradually refurb bits and put them onto your daily bike as you do them, so it can be a rolling restoration without having to come off the road.

Don't refurb/restore bits then put them on the shelf and make do with inferior parts on your daily bike. The bits will sit on the shelf for years, gradually deteriorating.

Always worth having a spare working engine on the shelf ready to slot in. It's an underpowered bike, but you won't feel the need to ever be gentle with it when you have a spare engine ready to slot in.

I agree with what you say about the original twin exhaust , but have you see how much people want for twin exhausts Shocked Shocked , I could pay a month`s mortgage at those prices!!.
