All of their 'Greater Brightness' headlight bulbs are but one get one free.

Just got a set of H4 90% brighter bulbs for £20, as one of my headlights died on me this morning!

They range in price from £14.99 to £24.99 I think the guy said.

I'm always skeptical of half-price and BOGOF deals. 19 times out of 20 the price was always the price. When was the last time you saw Cathedral City cheddar cheese for sale at full price?

Yeah new too, but was better value than just buying one regular bulb.

Thought it might be useful for others Smile

I must admit [my car and bike are very easy to change the bulbs on so if its a hassle maybe not worth it], but cheap ebay ones have been generally reliable for me. Maybe go once or twice a year, but for a couple of quid its worth the 30 seconds changing it for me.

I wouldn't bother. the halfords bulbs don't come out well against the likes of Philips x-treme vision (successor to the x-treme power), Osram Night Racer, or even OEM bulbs.

I put a set of 80% brighter H4 bulbs in the pan for £14, Halfrauds thrive on opening times and people thinking big names = cheap prices

Can I use hunk of cheese as a light on my bike?

Cool.

Of course you can, as long as you get the correct type. You can even get blue ones so you can have the high intensity look.

I luckily have a trade card for Halfords and bought a twin pack of headlight bulbs for the car last week. Marked up as £22 on the shelf... I paid £6. The trade card makes them comparable to the motor factors albeit slightly more convenient.

This is the shite i've got by on the last couple of years Razz £1.28 a pair. Only problem is delivery time, so you need to order a few sets to be sure of having some back-ups available as n' when you need them

Why does everybody buy the stupidly bright bulbs? It's just annoying for everybody else because it's like full beam behind you.

I need stupidly bright bulbs so I can see things through my darkest of dark tinted visor at night.

This is one of my biggest annoyances on the roads at the moment. Normally, it's one stupidly bright and scattered bulb and one dim and dying bulb!

I find the HID lights ridiculously bright and overpowered, the xenon bright-white bulbs [the cheap ones I use anyway] aren't that much brighter to be honest, its just a white light as opposed to the usual yellowish light you often get from standard bulbs.
