I don’t want to pay the price for Honda OEM parts unless I need to, I googled and searched BCF of course, I’m not finding many\any suggestions promoting non OEM seals.

Saito seals are claimed to be as good as OEM by Louis.de, and a lot cheaper

Anyone have any recommendations for non OEM fork oil and dust seals ?

There must be good aftermarket seals out there that compete on quality and price with OEM parts.

Get OEM. They work, pattern ones always leak for me.

If OEM ones don't, why would you be replacing them?

I have to agree with Robby. Tried the "OEM Quality" (non OEM) ones on three separate occasions, which were less than half the price of proper OEM. The were really firm and the slightest imperfection in the stanchions had them weeping within 10days. Switched to OEM and they lasted a year (probably would still be going had I not pulled the bike off the road).

Compromise: OEM seal and aftermarket dust cap.

I went that way when I replaced the seals on my ER6's forks. The aftermarket dust caps actually looked a bit better than the OEM originals, with a little spring around the cap lip, like you find on the seal itself.

If you enjoy changing fork seals often and regular then go for spurious, internet fakes.

Physical seal, genuine every time, dust seal, fuck em, any old rubber will do.

Every single set of seals I've changed have leaked if non genuine.

Just want to say I'm glad I asked the question.

I trust the consensus, so OEM parts it will be (well the oil seals at least).

Thanks lads Thumbs Up
