Currently got an sv650s and am returning to the land of Gixers as I've put a deposit down on a GSXR 600 L1 Cool

Lol, not yet. The 1st one got nicked after 6 months and the 2nd one I had to sell after 3 years as I needed the cash for moving house. Loved that bike and want another, plus I'm only 5 foot so there aren't many bikes out there for me that don't require lowering.

Hi Kate. What possessed you to go Gixxer Arrow SV? Financial necessity? Sad

Yup, gixer had to go to fund a house move and the SV was to tide me over until I could get another one. Just got to get a new lid and for the weather to play nice and I'm bringing the gixer home.

Going to keep the SV as a spare bike as it's always handy to have a spare Smile

A tractor as a spare bike, this is wrong. Whistle

Were you on here previously with a red GSXR? I faintly remember a shortie on a GSXR, like fuck can I remember a name though.

Need pics of bike btw. Thumbs Up

Ello. Dont think id keep an old SV with something new and shiny like that available, it would become a dust magnet within weeks Laughing

The important question though - what colour will it be Thinking

I know that I probably wouldn't get on with a Gixxer's riding position or power delivery, but... dem looks. They do get me just a little bit moist around the groinal zone.

Lol, I actually find the riding position good for my back (I have lower back issues).

On the K6 I altered the power delivery by dropping a sprocket on the front. I don't think I'll need to do that on the L1 but will see.

Thumbs Up

I've ridden one of the newer ones, very nice bikes, felt a bit like the K6 1000 I rode, and a few steps up from the CBR600RR I had.
