Hi! i've checked the fuse to my YBR. The fuse a blue. I'm looking at it and there seems to me some sort of S shape in the middle but its not connected. Basically the middle of the S it seems to have seperated is that normal or is that broken thanks?

Thats what mine looks like. It's just not a contiunous connection. Could that cause other problems if fuse isn't working? as my yamaha ybr doesnt seem to have any life.

If the bit in the middle is broken... the fuse has blown.
It's done what it's supposed to!

Replace with an identical rated one. If it works OK then carry on...

If the new one blows straight away, then you've got something faulty somewhere... but sometimes fuses just go... they get tired or vibrations have killed it or whatever...

Don't stress it until you've tried a new one

Hi

Note that the colour of the fuse represents the rating of the fuse. Blue is a 15a fuse, but it should have the rating printed on it as well.

Like electrons not getting where they're needed? Yes, replace it. If you have a manual, make sure that you replace it with the correct fuse, not whatever the last owner slapped in there.

The Yamaha YBR 125 (if that's your bike) should have a 15A fuse (a blue one) in it and I'm pretty sure it only has the one fuse, well, mine only has one - if it's blown nothing should work!

Edit: After reading your other thread (how many are there? Shocked ) - yes if your fuse has blown (which it has) the bike will not do anything because the YBR only has a single 15A fuse so it's basically like not having the battery connected - don't forget to put the red fuse cover/plug back in once you change the fuse and before you test it because that's what actually connects the fuse to the electrical system.
