Hi All. I have a keeway rkv and i would like to find out how many amps the alternator is putting out. sadly i don't have a multimeter or i would do it my self.
Thanks for any help Nathan  ____________________ Old my old Honda CLR after it tried eating its self. Now have a Keeway RKV 125, haha not all that bad tbh. Next bike will be a shiny new z800e for the restricted licence. |

If you are wanting to test for a dead phase you can connect up a 55W headlight bulb to each phase, at idle it will pull about 5A at about 12V, you can then test the voltage from each with el cheepo multimeter. Don't rev the bike though or the bulbs will explode.
Other than that I cant see why you would need to test the current output. Also as Robby said don't use a multimeter to measure the current when in the normal system, they can put out 20-30A per phase. ____________________ Current Bikes:Honda 929RR Fireblade, Honda CD200 Benly (Project), Stomp Z2 140
