have you changed any settings put on any new parts or has it just started doing this??

If its just started doing this your carb might be needing cleaning out and its restricting the amount of fuel going in. Check your sparkplug, you may need a new one or it might just need cleaning. If its not giving enough of a spark it wont run properly.
Does it idle properly or rev high?

Arrow ran out of fuel
Arrow changed the mixture settings
Arrow put super unleaded or something else in to bugger up the settings

What kind of noise was the radiator making ? Hissing ? You say the oil light was coming on, have you checked the 2 stroke level recently ? Have you checked that the throttle cable has not snapped ? This might explain 'revving' the bike with nothing happening (doesnt explain the rev counter jumping about though). I doubt you have holed the piston, as I know to my cost that this generally stops the bike running, often just after a loud bang Very Happy

And dude, your post's would be easier to read if you tried spelling and punctuating properly Thumbs Up

Temp and oil light is suggesting you've fucked it.

Is there any 2 stroke oil in the bottle?

Does it run for a bit, then bog down when the thing warms up?

If so then thats the piston seizing as it has no oil in it.

maybe your just being picky, and the noise is that the radiator actually works

sounds like you have run out of oil, or possibly the oil cable or throttle cable has snapped or is about to

dont ride it until you have fixed it, as the throttle could suddenly rise and you would get thrown off

could be a few things..... from past experience this is what it might be i could be wrong so dont go n carry out repairs for this lot LOL

1) fekked battery... i had a TZR 250 that ran very similar to that it turned out the battery was knackered n everything went eratic.

2) Shit in carb..

3) knackered plug ?? could be your plug or maybe the HT lead shorting out against the frame/cylinder if its split

4) Or worst comes to the worse u could have partially seized your engine ??? which could cause the problems your experiencing...

Did you recently purchase your bike ?? and if so was it from a dealer ??

TZR 50's are a pretty new bike from my memory so it shud be under some kind of warranty if it is ???

Sounds like your piston hasnt been properly lubricated by your oil. It only cuts out completely when its been ran for a while, correct?
This would mean that the piston has heated and expanded. Also i'd remove the cylinder head and just take a look, if you cant remove it youre piston has probably seized due to overheating, and if you can you should be able to see any physical damage. Id check your using the right fuel:oil mixture and not using a cheap 2-stroke oil.......Im assuming it is a 2-stroke.....
