Passed mod 1 today, very nice examiner who made me feel comfortable and relaxed. Explained everything clearly and with a smile. Which I think is very important when obviously nerves can sometimes make good students fail such a straightforward test.

Had one minor for doing 49kph on the swerve exercise and that was it easy, straightforward simple stuff. Practiced plenty with the instructor and it paid off.

We'll done me ( I know it's only mod 1 but it's an achievement nne the less) Very Happy

It's booked for early in February, wanted it sooner but there's no space on them until February. Suppose fate has it's way.

It'll give me chance to save up a little for a big bike and get some practice around the test centre roads. I hope the weather stays good!

After doing my mod 1, the examiner was very explicit with me that there was plenty of opportunities for me book mod 2, lots of gaps in the book, etc. etc. I'm pretty sure it was his way of saying don't let the school bullshit you that there are no gaps and you can't do it until such and such a date so they can scam 10 lessons off you.

Yea I know what your saying but I don't think they are bullshitting as I will be doing the training the day before and in the morning of the test. I won't be doing any more lessons Inbetween apart from some practice runs around the test centre on my 125

Good job, and quite right about the DVSA Derek - there's no reason that they can't be chipper.

You can check test availability online, of course. Wink

In order to do the training on the Sunday on less busy road, not that traffic worries me, and the test on the Monday, saves me having too much time off at my new job, it will have to be the 3rd of February as it's all booked up until then. Plus the instructors are also booked up.

It's fine, I'm sure karma has a plan for me!
