A friend of mine was directing a music video for a signed band called Voces, and they've done a cover of a pop song called Where I Sleep by Emeli Sande. Totally not my kind of music at all, especially as it's been covered as a choir type tune with no musical accompaniment. Quite creepy to listen to actually...

Anway - he was asking on his Facebook last week if anyone would be willing to help out with supplying a moped/scooter/motorbike for the shoot. The script basically to do with some actors playing chavs, and their encounter with a woman (? not quite sure tbh ?).. but the director just wanted a bike to appear with them for a bit of the visuals.

I ended up being drafted in, bringing along my tracksuit and hoodie for the authentic council house look. Made my entrance with a skid, and showed off my bike to the guys, along with my first ever on-camera burnout. One nearly jizzed himself when he got to sit on my bike too (bless the 17 year olds).

All filmed on the Thamesmead estate, where the likes of A Clockwork Orange and Misfits have been shot. Loads of concrete everywhere. A few dodgy looking lockups around too. It's been shot at 60fps so some slo-mo action is for sure.

Video will be finished by Friday apparently so will drop the link on here when it gets to me! Thumbs Up He usually gets the videos he directed onto some of the TV music channels too. Cool story bro Mr. Green

TL;DR - I did a burnout for a music video with some hooligan chavs cheering me on.

Don't lie little Doovy. You weren't wearing a tracksuit to complete the look.

You've gotten even fatter. Elasticated waistband has become your friend.

74kg from 80kg the last time I saw you, and reducing Wink

Now stop imagining my naked flesh.

Ha. Not at all. The guys in the pic are just the actors in the video, not the actual musicians. I've heard the track briefly, it's like an operatic choir Shocked A real contrast from the imagery, but I think there's a twist to the video.

Hmm. Works for me on 3 different devices and 2 different browsers. Are you sure you're copying it right?

It should be public by this week as it's not released yet.

Good stuff. Not my Vimeo channel either so have no adjustment on it. Not my type of music either, but the contrasting visual imagery is quite nice.

Still, now both my vehicles have been featured onscreen Laughing

I'm not quite sure tbh. Music video for a band, with a community message perhaps? I'll ask.

I didn't meet the girl actually, only the 3 hoodies as I was afternoon filming session. I'm glad I'd just fitted my new chinky adjustable levers and tinted screen. My first burnout too Laughing

The whole bike was filthy, not cleaned since beginning of December. I did ask if they wanted it clean, but they said dirty given the fact it's chav-owned!

It's in full time winter use though in real life. I just spent a good half hour on my chain today, so it's nice and clean with some good man-love for lube Thumbs Up The rest is still filthy, covered it in ACF50 on the last clean so will be fine.

Glad you like my cameo HT, I hope you watch it over and over until we meet again in the summer I hope Wink Don't expect any burnouts though, my tyre still has not forgiven me.
