Probably get embroiled in some twitter-esque defamation trial saying this, but I agree Laughing Always thought theres something a bit shady about him. A friend went to watch Deal Or No Deal a few years back and said hes just the same off camera as he is on camera, perculiar chap.

Seriously doubt that half of these "innocent victims" are that at all, personally doubt Rolf did anything.

Just like the Saville incident, if an old male celebrity drops dead now there will be over 30 people saying they were sexually assaulted just so they can get a payday. It makes a mockery of people that are actually assaulted and don't get any help for it.

Very true. I went out for a quiet Italian meal in Exeter about 20 years ago and he was sat with his family in the middle of the restaurant playing the big I am and gobbing off embarrassing his missus.

I do wonder where this is all going to end.

With the exception of Bill Roache, this investigation seems to be squarely aimed at long term employees of the BBC; does this mean that all employees of the commercial sector are completely beyond suspicion?

I've been particularly interested in the evidence against DLT and what constitutes sexual assault in today's society, as opposed to what a bit of sexual banter meant a few years ago.

Back in 2000, when I was presenting afternoon drive on an ILR, it wasn't unusual for the members of the (all female) sales team to decide it would be really funny to try and put me off an important link, by lifting their tops while pressed up against the window between the office and the studio.

Perhaps I should take them to court for sexual harrassment Rolling Eyes

Mmm.

Personally it strikes me as odd that we don't have some sort of 'statute of limitations'.

Jury trials strike me as being particularly problematic. If they're selected fairly then a good half of the jury members are going to be age 40 or below. How can they pass judgement on a crime that took place before they were even born? It seems like lunacy to me.
