I have been searching for an affordable solution to the cold hand syndrome. Bearing in mind I'm not sure how my bike would cope with heated parts and I already have good winter gloves, textile jacket and trousers, I have found two possibilities:

MotoX Brush Guards: Ok, but the cheaper ones seem to be a bit too 'aerodynamic' (IE. skinny, full of holes) to be of any use Confused

Handlebar Muffs: Ok, but it's harder to control the bike, they press against the levers etc etc Confused

So, has anyone ever tried both, at the same time? I figure the guards would stop the muffs encroaching on the levers and also give the ends a bit more height so you can reach controls more easily (like the 3D oxford muffs, only better - like little tents Smile).

Any thoughts?

Have you tried the inner liner type gloves that stop wind chill.
They stop the chill for a bit longer but not for good.

A mate of mine used the big muffs over the bars and said they were very good. Looked stupid but worked.
