Good A2 cruisers

Hi guys,

Im looking at getting my A2 license soon , it lets me get a bike with no more than 35 kw of power (roughly 46 bhp) and some bollocks about power to weight, which is poo.
Anyways, I was looking at getting a cruiser, (I don't care if they are slow ) and was wondering if you dudes had an opinion on best cruisers under 46 bhp, I was looking at a Yamaha Virago, just collecting opinions.

Not even nearly the best forum to ask on unless you are after pictures of men in chaps and comments on how sportsbikes are faster as if that's not a given.

Not really got an answer for you but I'd recommend test riding a cruiser and a sports/tourer and see what you like best. I got my cruiser thinking it was the shit until I got a shot of a sports bike.

Just take it all in jest and don't take it personally bud.
Either way the Virago looks like a nice bike. Why don't you get your licence and go test ride one?
What are the reviews likes MCN/Ride ect?

Doesn't matter what other people say, as long as your happy riding it.
If it's just the look/style your after, you don't need a cruiser for that.

I'd have thought that most cruisers fall within the A2 bracket, as they're generally a higher capacity, higher torque with lower revs and power.

Viragos can be less than comfortable if you are tall. Also it seems decent ones are asking silly prices now and cheap ones are likely on their 2nd or 3rd journey around the clock.

Whats your budget? If you like Harley's the 883's are A2 legal without restriction. I've only ever had a short go on one and I wouldn't want to own one though, not that comfy and a bit on the agricultural side.

Triumph America is a bit over at 54BHP so would need restricting but is generally reviewed better than the HD 883's. Not cheap though.

Yamaha XVS650 Dragstars are well regarded, masses of stuff to customise them and can be had fairly cheaply (circa 2k)I think the official figure on them is 39BHP
