Was just running a few quotes run and came across something good im 20, 2 years no claims, high risk postcode.
The hyosung gt 125 in my garden, £205
Yamaha Thundercat £600.
Fireblade £1700
TL1000R - £800
TL1000S- £189
GSXR1000 k1 -£1700
GSXR1100 £170
2000 bandit 600 - £200
Full power model VMax -£189
Hayabusa £1500
2.3L Triumph Rocket 3 - £250
All quotes are on thebikeinsure and cheapest quote from all 3 types of cover, FC TPFT, TPO.
Same details just different bike, set value at £1500 so for some obviously out.
Very shocked, I've never been one to get a cheap quote, last time I ran a few quotes (few months back) I could only insure a 125 for under £400, mainly due to my postcode, I lie In a nice area which happens to share same postcode with roughest estate in Preston, despite being a 10 minute drive, a river and 2 hills away. Not even in the same council FFS. ____________________ Ex bikes: 05 Suzuki En 125, '98 Yamaha Thundercat, '08 Honda cbr125, '05 Kawasaki z750, '03 Triumph Daytona 600, '91 Kawasaki ex250, '03 Hyosung Comet 125

Bear in mind that there aren't that many bikes around compared to cars. It's possible that any given model or variant might have had very few thefts or accidents that resulted in a big payout, and Insurance Computer reckon that means it'll never happen. ____________________ Biking is 1/20th as dangerous as horse riding.
