Hi everyone,

I am hoping someone may be able to help me?

I ride quite a bit with a friend, and we use two way radios to talk to each other. I would also like to listen to a SAT NAV through my phone when on long journeys. Does anyone know of a device which I can connect a phone, and a two way radio with a push to talk button?

Many thanks in advance.

Stuart

You have two ears.
You have two devices.
Surprised

But srsrly, I don't know if you can have a satnav and a radio going through the same earpiece.

If you're just looking for combined audio output would something like this do the job?

if you both have android phones there's an app you can use which allows bluetooth to bluetooth communication like a radio setup, not sure how you'd then go about having the sat nav in there too though

I do understand the limited range point with Bluetooth but I've not found it to be an issue myself. Myself and my father toured Europe on separate bikes using supposedly rider-pillion intercom headsets and had very few issues with them breaking up. In practice we probably had a range approaching 100 meters most of the time, and rarely less than 25.

The only time lack of range was an issue was when I was following my dad and took a wrong turn onto a motorway slip road without him realising. By the time I had stopped safely I was out of range, it would have been nice to tell him I was going to ride to the next junction and turn around there but instead I had to back the bike up the sliproad to avoid us getting split.

For the record, we had Scala Rider headsets and they do everything the OP is after.

Think it also supports wifi direct if both phones do which would significantly increase the range Thumbs Up
