Problems with Safari on iPad

[Az]

iPad 2 running version 7.0.3
When I click the left arrow to go a previous page it takes me to a completely random pages that I'd visited a long time a go.

It also doesn't allow me to open a new page/have tabs, I click the + button and nothing happens.

Tried holding down the home button and lock button until it switches back on again, still have the same problem.
Closed safari completely and reopen and still no difference.

Is there any easy solution or do I have to reset the iPad on iTunes?
