Had an odd one just now, BCF was reporting a 502 Bad Gateway. Fine from another machine (on a different VLAN at work) but this one wouldn't load the site. Tried forced reload, closing the tab and opening a new one and switching off the VPN I use none of that made any difference. Finally sorted it by closing the tab, telling the browser to forget the site and then reloading the site from fresh.

Windows 7 Professional and Firefox 26.0

Your routing and dns cache was all messed up with the vpn n shizzle going on.

Aye, normally I'd agree but the VPN had been running solidly for a week with no disconnects, no other tabs were affected and it took a cache/cookie clear to sort it rather than an ARP and DNS flush. Slightly odd, hence the post to report it.

Unusually I've been getting it all day with chrome.

Tried with FF and it's fine.

Deleted bcf cookies in chrome and it's fine there now.

I had this problem on my work PC. Luckily I could still get on with my phone so I sorted it now.

I thought IT had finally blocked access...

Hmm, yes, I've now had it on all my stable of machines with Chrome, and only chrome. I needed to blow away my cookies.

Been getting it loads over the last few days, only happens on certain threads, always seem to be able to access the home page.

Clearing cache and restarting the browser sometimes fixes it.

Still getting it here occasionally but a refresh or back to the main page and trying again generally seems to work. It is getting annoying though.

Edit:
Also got it when posting this but the message was posted (obviously)

I got to the point that I just couldn't read a load of threads because specific threads would ALWAYS come up with the gateway error.
Clearing all bikechatforums cookies has sorted it.

I hope this is now fixed for everybody. If anybody has it happen again, do let me know (and try seeing if clearing cookies fixes it).
