Saw this on another site.
Personally I think he went in to the corner to hot - as he crossed the white line he saw the 40 tonner bearing down on him & hit the front brake.
Obviously from where we are sat he should have done things differently as we would have done if we were in his position.
I..Think...Not!!! How can you say you would have done something different?
Yes..he should have approached the corner at the correct speed /bike settled / road position etc.
But he didn't.
Anyone else ever done that?
I know I have exactly like that except it was a Range Rover. New underpants & a lesson learned. ....Luckily  |

Have to agree with this. I actually believe if he had the state of mind, he could have hit his left bar and tucked back into the bend before hitting the truck.
We've all hit corners hot but it's training your brain to lean in more rather than freezing and locking the front that would make the world of difference here.
