Hi everybody I'm Chris been looking at the forums for a little while now and decided it was probably time for me to sign up.

I passed my test at the end of November last year and bought a 97 Suzuki gsx750f been out a few times on it and love it but since the weather has been so wet and horrible recently been using the car instead. Anyway just wanted to say hi and introduce myself

I look forward to being a active member on the forums and getting advice from those of you that have been riding for years

Thanks

Hi to you too, you will get good advice on here if ....... well you probably know that there are wind-ups and some dodgy suggestions, pick through it and it works just fine.

Lol it's not so much the rain more the condition of the roads I have to travel on to work just recently with the floods etc much easier to just drive slowly through in car

How are you finding a 750 straight after the test, did you have a bit of time on small bikes pre-test or decide to take the dive into faster-fun Wink

I'm another wet-weather avoider since getting a car. Warm heaters and dry clothes is just too tempting on the way to work most days Embarassed

I had a 125 for nearly a year after doing cbt then sold it due to it constantly having problems it was an old 2 stroke honda nsr, after that my girlfriend gave me a gift voucher for my birthday for part of my das course so got it booked straight away and got it done. Really loving the 750 straight so far plenty of power when you want it and a nice easy bike to ride.

Yeah I know what you mean like you say when you got the choice of a nice warm heater way too tempting, although I am looking forward to the roads round here drying up a bit so I can get the bike back out again
