I'm looking at getting a trailer to lug my trackbike around, inspired by binning it at Cadwell last year and having to find a way to get it home Rolling Eyes

Cheapest ones I've found so far are the Dave Cooper ones (£369) but I've no idea if they're any good or not.

Anyone used one or have a recommendation for another cheap option? Needs to be collapsible really Thumbs Up

I've had a double Dave Cooper trailer for many years and it was fine. They are quite light so I was able to pick it up and move it about with relative ease when manhandling it through a narrow gateway.

My mate borrowed it and drove at 100mph on the way to Scotland. He managed to make one of the tyres explode. They come with a spare bolted underneath luckily.

I have a copy of the dave cooper collapsible trailer, I got it for £150 off ebay brand new and its been bloody good apart from a couple of things.

I have covered approx 70,000miles with it and it's out lasted 3 cars, the only issues with it is after about 50,000miles really it was knackered as the pins that hold it together oval out the holes they go through so it becomes a bit rickety and wears the tyres out funny and it also rattles like a bastard til you get on a motorway or similar.

Im pretty sure all the collapsible trailers will do the same so treat them as expendable although now mine is completely shot I am going to just weld it up solid and keep using it.

Don't suppose you could tell me who the seller was if it's archived in your purchase history? Sounds ideal as mine will only do a thousand miles a year tops so cheap and disposable is good enough Laughing

I have tried to find it for you but had no luck, the trailer I have is Identical to the one shown here apart from his is missing a crossbar halfway between the tow hitch and axle.
