I too love DK and DK2.
I was gutted at the ea android mobile one.
Pay to wait indeed.

On the brighter side I came across this recently

i still have dk2 on disc. Although i need a graphics card on my pc to play it. Onboard doesn't cut it.

Reviews on gog say that it's a horrible port that constantly crashes. I wish they would make a DK3, I remember they were going to but it got abandoned.
