hello lads lasses and anything between.
a few of us want to go to the tt in 2015 and want to be prepared, we plan to go on the bikes but a couple are going down in a camper type vw so all crap can go in there.
i want to get the ferry and camping booked as soon as possible but im having trouble getting prices ect for the ferry as when im putting in the dates "race week " to go down and come back it says no information available on https://www.steam-packet.com/ .
is this because im trying to book too far in advance ?
gis a clue lads. |

I'm also interested in going to the TT races in 2015, from what I can gather Devo you're best to call the operator or one of the brokers to get information on bookings.
I'll be watching this thread in anticipation of some good hints.
Cheers,
Mac. |

Booking for 2015 is probably too far ahead tbh, they will start taking deposits for next years TT during this years TT though, as a lot of folks book/put down deposits for the following years when leaving the island after the current TT.
Try giving the steamracket a phone call to see what they say but, don't expect them to be too helpful though, it's not like they exist to provide a service or anything like that.
If you're planning on camping, you could try Glenlough campsite www.glenloughcampsite.com (sunshine not guaranteed) it's just outside of Douglas and seems one of the better sites from what I've heard and it's served bt a pretty regular bus service when the roads are open that is, as it's on the TT course. There's plenty of other campsites around though, just google them and give them a ring to enquire about booking for the dates you want.
Good luck and enjoy. |
